Hello it’s me, I’m Pierre I’m a French guy, well raised in France but I never really lived there as an adult.

I lived in Germany when preparing my PhD – it was way cheaper than living in France. Then I got a job for ELF the French oil company who sent me to Angola for 3 years then to the Republic of Congo for 7 years.

After I went for 5 years in Saudi Arabia to work as a project manager on the East West pipeline communication revamping.

I tried to return to France and got a job with SFR but I just didn’t like it, France wasn’t as I dreamed of it so I left and moved to Minnesota where I just love it!

I’m an engineer in IT and it’s also my passion. I like the big stuff like an IBM P7-780 (that’s really big) and the simple gadget like my 32Gb Pico USB drive and everything in between

I also enjoy reading, gardening, woodworking, beer and wine making, I love AC/DC (really love them)…
