Now if you are looking at getting a server, 1and 1 is the place to go the biggest beast 1and1 sells is a Hexa-Core 3XL – High Performance Server with 2 AMD Six-Core Opteron 2423 ticking at 2Ghz, with 32Gb Ram and 3 1TB hard drive mounted in a Raid 5. These servers are enterprise class servers for $599a month in the Linux configuration. Mine is much smaller (Dual-Core XL with 2 dual core CPU and 4Gb of Ram).

Definitively and as I did, you start with a 1 year free web hosting, continue with a business class hosting plan, then a 1and1 Virtual server and finish with a 1and1 dedicated root server.
