    i am tablet PC enthusiast just like u and a tech lover generally.,though i have afew oter areas of interest as well most notably urban transport management and supercapacitors and alternative energy

    the use of supercapacitors as direct replacement for batteries is my current focus of research

    i am based in Chandigarh North India btw

    a lot of stuff has attracted my attention lately which we shall talk one by one later

    i was among the first invitees for the NOTION INK preorders.
    Unfortunately i couldnt wriggle out finances in Feb ( my dad went thro a major surgery) i hope to lay hands on it soon though

    3G in India is still very nascent..for eg an unlimited wired plan at 1 mbps still costs abt 1500 rupees a month here and unlimited 3G unwired plan at 3.6 mpbs not less than 2500 rupees.Both of those are very expensive according to usage here.

    recently the state owned telecom utility BNSL launched FTH or fibre to home for triple play of web.TV .voice at 3000 rupees per month of 1 mbps unlimited

    private operators are even dearer

    so we really dont have 3G settled here yet

    what i need is a tablet with sim slot to make GSM calls and have simple GPRS/EDGE like a phone thats all

    i might go in for 3G version but it wont serve ne real purpose as i said.
